Bang.. twang.. bang.
Several days since launch the engine room bore a likeness closer to a salvage yard than a room containing access to the heart of a space vessel. Cracked
seals, rusty fittings and broken hoses were scattered throughout. Many of the broken parts were not available and Jade was forced to either bypass systems or
rig solutions that weren't entirely safe.
Luckily, for this voyage, there wasn't a need to change directions. The lunar colony was a straight shot from Jade's point of origin. His only concern was to
get the engines running long before entering Lunar space. If he was escorted into the Lunar colony by the authorities one more time he would risk losing his ship. |
